Thursday, October 13, 2005 Death, ergo Destruction. Phil Eckstein, a Skidmore College student died early sunday morning. It makes me particularly irritated imagining members of the Saratoga community blaming the kid because he had a few drinks, as if the town didn't run on beer and horses. Rest in peace. "In the tsunami 1.5 million people were made homeless, but in this case we expect more than 2.5 million to be homeless." A cold truth? Death is the easy part? Bird flu will get the rest of us.
